DOG ADOPTION INFORMATION
Our dogs are available for adoption through an application process. To apply, please complete the application found below. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed, and references will be contacted. If everything meets our criteria, we will get in touch to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that dogs are primarily cared for in loving foster homes while waiting for their forever families. They are only kept onsite at SHAID for brief periods before being placed in temporary foster homes.
Adoption Fees
Puppy $700
Dog $450
Senior Dog $250
(We accept debit, credit and cash. Please note we do not accept personal checks.)

Walk-in Adoptions: Not available until one week after the puppy's social media debut.

Meet & Greet Invitations: Selected applicants will be contacted within 3 business days after the 48-hour application window closes.
General Adoption Guidelines

Unaltered Dogs: Un-spayed females and un-neutered males cannot be adopted together.

Matching Process: Adopters are selected on a best-match basis, not first-come, first-served.

SHAID is proud to care for and rehome senior dogs—aged 7 years and older—who are looking for a warm, loving place to spend their golden years. These wonderful companions often come with calm temperaments, training experience, and so much love to give.
