SHAID Tree Animal Shelter is excited to launch our 50/50 fundraiser—a chance for Nova Scotia residents to win big while making a difference for animals in need. Founded in 1986, SHAID is a no-kill shelter that provides compassionate care and a safe haven for stray, abandoned, and surrendered pets. In 2024 alone, we gave 502 cats and kittens and 27 dogs and puppies a second chance at life, ensuring each received the medical attention, love, and support needed to find a forever home. As a registered charity that receives no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community to continue this life-saving work. When you purchase a 50/50 ticket, 50% of the funds raised go to one lucky winner, while the other 50% directly supports the care of the animals at SHAID.
