Rudy

Sweet 5 year old Australian Cattle dog

Rudy is a confident, well-behaved boy with a smart mind and a gentle heart. He’s a quick learner who enjoys his independence just as much as his cuddle time—perfectly content soaking up sunbeams or joyfully rolling around in the snow when outdoors. When it’s time to relax, Rudy is a snuggly sweetheart who happily leans in for belly rubs.

At 5 years old, Rudy would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for a well-rounded, easygoing dog. He is house trained and crate trained, and does exceptionally well in his crate—he even enjoys it! Rudy is leash trained, though he can pull at times; his foster family is actively working with him on impulse control and leash manners.

Rudy gets along well with both male and female dogs. He has met cats and is a bit unsure of them—while he may occasionally give chase, he responds well to direction and stops on command. He’s great in the car and has lived with young children. When excited, Rudy can jump up, but this is also being worked on in foster care.

Rudy already understands several basic commands, including sit, down, paw, no, wait, and off, and continues to impress with his willingness to learn.

With his confident personality, affectionate nature, and solid training foundation, Rudy is ready to become a loyal and loving addition to his forever home.

Piper

Handsome 5 year old American Blue Heeler

Piper is a total lovebug who lives for belly rubs! She’ll happily flop onto her back and stay there as long as you’re willing to scratch that belly, rewarding you with endless kisses and requests for more. Sweet, affectionate, and full of charm, Piper is the kind of companion who quickly steals hearts.

At 5 years old, Piper would be a wonderful match for a family or a single person looking for a loyal companion or an adventurous hiking buddy. She enjoys daily walks and would thrive with someone who leads a fairly active lifestyle. Piper is currently a tiny bit overweight, but with good-quality food and regular exercise, she’ll be feeling her best in no time.

Piper is well-mannered and eager to please. She is house trained, crate trained, and does very well in her crate—she even enjoys it! When left out, she’s trustworthy and doesn’t get into mischief. She is leash trained, though she may pull a bit at first when heading outside; her foster family is actively working on this.

She does well with both male and female dogs and has been around cats—while she’s a bit unsure and sometimes curious, she responds well to commands and stops when redirected. Piper is great in the car and has lived with young children. She can get jumpy when excited, but this is also being worked on in foster care.

Piper already knows several commands, including sit, down, paw, no, wait, and off, and continues to learn every day.

An absolute sweetheart who is easy to love, Piper is ready to bring affection, fun, and companionship to her forever home.
